SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT MARKETING- COURSE DESCRIPTION
Sports and Entertainment Marketing is a specialized course that provides students with the opportunity to learn marketing principles in the field of sports and entertainment. Students produce and market activities for simulated athletic and entertainment events. Emphasis is placed on the functions of marketing-information management, pricing, product/service management, promotion, place, and selling. A significant portion of this course includes hands-on learning through student-development activities and group projects to meet the course goals. Students will be using computers and real or simulated occupational experiences as well.

GRADING
Class Assignments/Projects/other Assessments. All grades will be averaged together for a final marking period grade.
