Dear Parents,

 

    I will be sending home weekly updates so you are aware of what lessons are being taught each week.  Please check your child's blue dot notebook each day and sign so I know you are aware of their homework assignments.  Homework is given Monday thru Thursday.  Occasionally, your child may be given a project that should be worked on over the weekend, but I do prefer my students to spend quality time with their families over the weekend! I also encourage my students to "READ" each night, whether its a passage, a leveled reader, or just read the list of words given to them each Monday.  Fridays are our assessment day.  Please encourage your child to ask questions in class if there is any skill not understood.  I thank you for your cooperation and know that this is going to be a great year for all!
