Welcome to 6th Grade / TEAM 6B!

I hope you enjoyed the summer break and that you are looking forward to the beginning of the school year and what is sure to be a great 6th grade year!

In addition to bringing your school-issued Chromebook (charged and in its case) each day, there are other supplies you will need for 6th grade.  Listed below are suggested supplies for Team 6B.  Please note that rolling backpacks should not be used as they do not fit into lockers. 

*Please know that if you are "cross-teamed" for an academic subject (or if you have a teacher that is not listed below), you will need to check that teacher’s website for suggested supplies.* 

Technology Supplies (to be brought to class daily)

• Your school-issued Chromebook

• This should be charged each night at home so it is ready for the next day

• Chromebook Charger

• Labeling it with your name is helpful in case it is misplaced

• Headphones/Earbuds (wired, NOT bluetooth)

•    Optional - Mouse

General Supplies 

• Soft pencil case

• Pencils/Pens/Colored pencils

• Post-its

• Highlighters

• Homework folder

ELA (Alvarez/Cucciniello) 

• One spiral notebook (Writer’s Notebook/Reading Response Journal)- This notebook will be stored in the classroom and can’t be shared with another academic class.

• One 1-inch binder  

• Dividers (3)

• Independent Reading Book   

Math (Rovi)

• One spiral notebook

• One section in a binder to be used to store math handouts - this section should be in a binder that is shared with other subjects

• One 1-inch binder or a section of a larger binder
