Turn to Page 11 in the CREATE PT Survival Guide-- (However, you can always go back and read the necessary sections in your survival guide or go to Code.org and look over the samples again).
Page 11 is Bring It All Together. Read and follow the steps to begin.

Next week when you get ready to begin the actual coding you can Login to Code.org and go to the Create Task – Lesson 3 and continue to the end where it will take you to the App Lab to create your app.
MAKE NOTES of what you accomplish and any problems you have along the way so you can include them in your responses.

(1) Complete the CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING questions/reflections in Lesson 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 (Due by Monday, September 24 at 8 a.m.)
(2) Watch the Video in Lesson 12 Video: The Internet: IP Addresses & DNS and complete the 7 questions on the worksheet--Video Guide for IP Addresses and DNS.
The worksheet link is >> Video guide and questions. You can simply key the answers on a Word Doc and share it with me--Be sure your name is on the sheet and type the questions and the answer from the video. (Due by Monday, September 24 at 8 a.m.)
(3) PT Practice Flash Talk -- The Flash Talk Guide can be found in Code.org Lesson 14 or by selecting this link >> Flash Talk: The Internet and Society This is to be worked on outside of class time.
SCHEDULE FOR FLASH TALK: You should have your Flash Talk Guide (packet) completed by the end of the day Tuesday/show me by Wednesday. Submit your Flash Talk in Flipgrid by the start of day Friday, September 28.

3 Main Components of the Flash Talk: • Pick an issue and research it. • Prepare (write) a Flash Talk • Record Video of Flash Talk on FlipGrid (remember 2 minutes)
You are basically writing a short speech: • 2 minutes is about 300 words (maximum word-length of a typical reflection prompt on the AP Explore Performance Task)
