U.S. History I

In keeping with the NJ Core Curriculum Standards, the study of United States History provides students with the framework for studying the political, social and cultural issues that have impacted American society.  At the same time, this course will allow students the opportunity to analyze instead of merely memorizing the impact these issues have had on our country.  The development of higher-level thinking is encouraged assisting students in making historical assessments and evaluations.  Students are afforded an opportunity to secure such understanding by a course in United States History.
