Mr. Gonzalez
Our Classroom Rules
Our objective in this class is for students to learn the curriculum at hand so that they may be well prepared to succeed in their future careers. Our classroom rules are designed to support our objective and eliminate any disruptions to the task at hand.
All school-wide rules are enforced in our classroom. Particular attention is paid to the following:
• NO FOOD, DRINK, OR GUM.
• NO CELL PHONES OR OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES.
• NO HATS.
• NO TALKING unless you raise your hand and are called on by the teacher.
Other important matters include the following:
Attendance and Punctuality. Students are expected to attend class and arrive in a timely fashion.
Performance and Staying on Task. Students are expected to work diligently on their assignments. Remember, practice makes perfect. There is no time for off-task activities.
Respect. It is expected that students will exhibit respect for everyone, including teachers, administrators, visitors, fellow students and themselves. Students are also expected to respect property. Make sure you leave your work area clean and tidy.
Minor infractions will result in a warning for the first two incidents. Subsequent infractions will result in disciplinary action. Serious infractions will result in immediate disciplinary action at the discretion of the teacher.
