Grade –50% of your grade is based on being prepared. If you are unprepared 5 times or more per marking period, you will fail. Each “unprepared” is 7.2 and even though an F is the lowest alphabetical grade you can receive, your numerical grade will be calculated and will affect your final grade. -50% is based on your participation. If you do not participate you will lose the same amount of points as being unprepared for class. “Non-participation” is determined by me or the substitute. Five or more “NPs” for the marking period is a failing grade. Students unprepared and/or not participating 5 or more times will fail for the marking period. Students unprepared and/or not participating 15 or more times will fail for the year.
