First the students will need to know the title of the story to place inside the roof.
Second the students will need to find the setting of the story to add to the second floor (room on the left side)
Next add the characters to the right side.
Third add the problem to the 1st floor (room on the left side)
Last solve the problem in the solution room on the right side of the first floor.
Make note that story houses are not used in informational stories.
Students will eventually start creating these story houses in their mind while reading. The improvement of the reading comprehension is amazing!
