Welcome to Kindergarten and to the Pelican family! I have been a teacher for 23 1/2 years. I received my Bachlor of Prekindergarten Education from the University of Toledo (Ohio). I added on my K-3 in 2005 from Ashland University. In Decemeber of 2011 I graduated with my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Classroom Instruction from Ashland University (Ohio).
Before moving to Florida, I was a Preschool teacher in Ohio for 2 1/2 years and a Special Education assistant for 2 years. This will be my 18th year of teaching in Florida. I have taught 2nd Grade and Kindergarten at Orange River Elementary. At Pelican I have taught 1st Grade and this will be my 16th year teaching Kindergarten.
I am an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Gaurdians fan! I like all things Disney! I like to read or swim in my spare time. I live in the Cape Coral with my husband and daughter.
