Livingston Parish Weighted Grades will continue as we have in the past.

 

Major Assessments (MA)- 40%

Assessed for Accuracy(AA)- 35%

Particpation/Completion (PC)- 10%

End of Semseter Assignment (ES)- 15% 

 

 

 

 

Disclaimer: Parents and Students, please note that you should only use PowerSchool to see an accurate grade calculation, as we use weighted grades in high school.  I may enter grades in Google Classroom to track performance and participation, but once transferred to PowerSchool, the category weights will take effect. PowerSchool is accurate, not Google Classroom!

 

 

BONUS FOR AP HUG 

 

Due to the rigorous nature of Advanced Placement, students who stay on pace score much better than those who skip assignments or turn in late work. I will offer the following bonus opportunities for those students who complete their classwork (either virtual or in person) on time. If at any time a student has late work or doesn't complete an assignment, I will not apply bonus for the unit.

 

Unit 1-

Bonus 1- Pay supply fee on time- 10 points

Bonus 2- No late work including all virtual assignments- 20 points on Unit 1 exam

 

Units 2-7 and End of Semester bonus will be posted during the year.
