Study Island :
~ Study Islands will be assigned periodically.
~ Each assignment will be a total of 10 questions.
Below is a summary explanation of how things are scored and calculated:
> answering 7 out of 10 = 100% for that assignment
(explained: 7 correct out of the 10 will be 7/7 in the gradebook & calculated as 100%)
> answering 0 out of 10 or not completed = 0%
(explained: 0 correct out of the 10 will be 0/7 in the gradebook & calculated as 0%)
(a grade of 0% will also be put in the gradebook if the assignment is never completed)
> answering 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 out of 10 = those calculated percentages
(example: 3 correct out of the 10 will be 3/7 in the gradebook & calculated as such)
> answering 8, 9, or 10 out of 10 = 100% + extra credit
(example: 9 correct out of the 10 will be 9/7 in the gradebook & calculated as such)
THESE ASSIGNMENTS ARE THE ONLY OPTIONS
OR OPPORTUNITIES TO EARN EXTRA CREDIT!
