8th Grade Advanced Band

 

The Live Oak Junior High School Eighth Grade Advanced Band is the top performing group and consists primarily of eighth grade students and a select few seventh grade students. We will be performing at all school pep rallies, home football games, Parish Festival, Regional-District Festival. In addition to the events listed we will perform multiple concerts: Halloween, Veteran's Day school resentation, Christmas Concert, and at least one Spring Concert.

 

All of these events make us one of the more visible organizations in our school.

 

Parents and students received a handbook that includes all dates and known times/deadlines for the various events for the year. There are two pages at the back of the packet that will need to be returned, the students information page with confirmation parents have received the handbook and give students permission to leave campus when there are band related activities that require us to do so. There is also a medical information form that gives me some information about any medical conditions or medications I may need to be aware of.
