Welcome! I would like to invite you to a year full of opportunities, challenges, and personal growth. I am the Agriscience teacher and FFA Advisor here at Doyle High. I teach Agriscience I & II and Carpentry I & II in Agriscience. Please check back weekly for updates and feel free to email me with questions. We utilize google classroom and other online programs that your child will have to use in and out of class.

Doyle FFA: Leadership dues are $20.00 and are a one-time fee per year. This fee is for all students in the Ag Ed program, which includes all agriscience, carpentry, and welding students. Membership dues include National, State, and Local fees, an FFA shirt, and an FFA gift.
Bell Work: BW will be completed by each student each day by using quizizz (a review game app). Students will play the review games daily and earn participation points for the week. The day before a test a Bell Work Quiz (ACC grade) will be taken. I will take the highest score you earned for your BWQ.
Exit Journals: EJ's are completed each day and turned in on google classroom every Friday. This is a participation grade.
Agenda: Agendas will be posted & updated every Monday for the week, therefore there is NO reason for you NOT to know what is going on that week.

Agriscience/Carpentry:
- Agriscience I is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of agriculture, applied sciences, and the National FFA Association. This includes units in leadership, animal science, plant science, food science, basic NCCER/CITF Core, and FFA. Students will partake in three dimensions of agriculture education, which include classroom/laboratory instruction, Supervised Agriculture Experience Program (SAEP), and the National FFA Organization.
- Carpentry 1 in Agriscience is designed to provide students with basic knowledge of becoming a carpenter and earn a level 1 certification. NCCER Core and/or CITF Core certification is a requirement This is a certification-based course.
