I am very excited about beginning a new school year with your child! We will be working hard to ensure success for everyone. I will teach my homeroom ELA (English, reading, and fundations). Ms. Rubee Smith will teach our class math and social living (science and social studies).The following tools will help you stay informed:
*WEEKLY NEWSLETTER- Check your child's homework folder every Monday for the weekly newsletter. This informs you of the skills and tests for the week.
*CONDUCT/HW FOLDERS - Students will bring them home each day for you to view. It will have a pocket for HW/Notes and a pocket for papers that can be kept at home. On Friday, your child will recieve a Conduct grade and a Home Responsibility grade for the week. The folder should be signed and returned to school on Monday.
*GRADED PAPERS - These go home each Friday and should be returned the following Monday with your signature.
