Dear Parents,
I believe in positive reinforcement. All children will be treated fairly. Each student will have a clip with his/her name on it. The clips will be placed on the pink “Laughing Face” at the beginning of each day. As a student misbehaves, the clip will be moved down the chart to the “Smiling Face”, “Frowning Face”, and then to the “Sad Face”.

Consequences
* First Warning - Verbal reminder
* Second Warning - Move clip to green “Smiling Face” and will have a five minute time-out
* Third Warning - Move clip to yellow “Frowning Face” and will have a ten minute time-out & complete extra work
* Fourth Warning - Move clip to red “Sad Face” and will lose some recess time, center time & complete extra work. A note will be sent home. Please sign and return it.
* Additional Warnings - I will call parents to discuss the problem behavior. If the behavior continues, the student will receive a 30 minute time out in another class. Student will be sent to the office if the behavior if the behavior doesn't improve.
