Virtual Classroom Rules

 

 

This virtual school thing is something that is new to all of us.  I am not going to say that I am an expert at it because I would be lying. I am learning along with you, so I will make mistakes and have technical difficulties from time to time. Bear with me; I will do my best. Hopefully, I can make this as painless as possible for you and we will get to whatever the end goal is together. Now, THE RULES! 

 

  • Be on time.

      Make sure all of your equipment is working before class begins.

 

  • Be respectful.

       Be aware of strong language, all caps, and exclamation points.

               Tip: Read everything out loud before you send it.

         Turn off your speaker or mute yourself when the teacher is speaking.

         Activate your camera so that your teacher and classmates can see you.   

         Wear appropriate clothes like you do when you are in the physical classroom.

 

  • · Be active and attentive.

         Yes, grammar and spelling matter! In an educational settings (even online)               keep the communication formal.

 

  • Engage in appropriate online behavior and communicate only with the teachers regarding their school assignments.

 

    Avoid posting or sharing negative and offensive comments, posts, messages,          photos and inappropriate material. All inappropriate communication will result in          a behavioral report and suspension from virtual classroom setting.
