Rules:

 

  1. Be Respectful.
    1. Demonstrate pride in self through words, actions, and appearance
    2. Treat all teachers and classmates kindly and deferentially
    3. Treat your surroundings, others’ belongings, and the school with consideration
    4. Do not interrupt teacher or classmates
    5. Remain in your seat during active teaching
  2. Be Prepared.
    1. Bring all materials to every class – this includes pens/pencils, paper, and assignments.
  3. Be Prompt. 
    1. Be in your seat BEFORE the bell rings
  4. Be Attentive.
    1. Turn off and put away cell phones BEFORE entering the room.
    2. Throw away ALL food and drinks BEFORE entering the room.
  5. Be Honest.
    1. Do your own work – do not cheat or plagiarize.

 

Consequences:

 

  1. First Warning:  The first warning for most infractions will be a verbal warning.  The student will be asked to modify his/her behavior based on school/classroom rules.
  2. Second Warning:  The second warning for continuing problems will result in a parent conference.
  3. Third Warning:  The third warning for continued disruption will be a referral to the administration with a recommendation for suspension.
