Rules:
- Be Respectful.
- Demonstrate pride in self through words, actions, and appearance
- Treat all teachers and classmates kindly and deferentially
- Treat your surroundings, others’ belongings, and the school with consideration
- Do not interrupt teacher or classmates
- Remain in your seat during active teaching
- Be Prepared.
- Bring all materials to every class – this includes pens/pencils, paper, and assignments.
- Be Prompt.
- Be in your seat BEFORE the bell rings
- Be Attentive.
- Turn off and put away cell phones BEFORE entering the room.
- Throw away ALL food and drinks BEFORE entering the room.
- Be Honest.
- Do your own work – do not cheat or plagiarize.
Consequences:
- First Warning: The first warning for most infractions will be a verbal warning. The student will be asked to modify his/her behavior based on school/classroom rules.
- Second Warning: The second warning for continuing problems will result in a parent conference.
- Third Warning: The third warning for continued disruption will be a referral to the administration with a recommendation for suspension.
