My name is Ms. Morson.
This will be my fourth year teaching chemistry, first year here at Neville High School. I also help coach the girls' soccer and volleyball teams! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. My favorite part about teaching students is when they excperience their "A-Ha!" moment, meaning that they have finally understood a concept and put all of the puzzle peices together. I'm excited and looking foward to being your child's teacher this year!
Once we get labs going, I plan on posting photos in a tab specifically for labs.
Schedule
- 1st period - Honors Chemistry 1
- 2nd period - Chemistry 1
- 3rd period - AP Chemistry 2
- 4th period - Honors Chemistry 1
- 5th period - Chemistry 1
- 6th period - Chemistry 1
- 7th period - Planning Period
Materials
- A calculator, preferably a Ti-30XS or TI-36X. If the students have a TI-84, TI- 84 Plus CE, or any other calculator that they feel comfortable with, they should be fine.
- A college ruled notebook specifically for chemistry, maybe two if they are taking AP chemistry
- Pencils
- A pack of colored pencils
- Pens: black and blue
