Hello Parents,

 

My name is Mrs. Leporsha Arvie, and I am the 5th Grade ELA teacher at Carver. This is my second year teaching. I graduated from ULM in May 2023 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and I am certified to teach grades 1-5. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

 

I am married to my husband of two years, and we have a beautiful son named Samuel. I enjoy family, and most of all, shaping the young minds of the future. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach your child. Each day in the classroom is a blessing for me. 

 

Some of my favorite hobbies include cooking, reading, making daily trips to Starbucks, and going to church.
