Hello Parents and Guardians,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the start of a new school year! My name is Ms. Weston, and I am truly honored to be your child’s 7th/8th grade math teacher this year. I want to take a moment to officially welcome you and your child to what I know will be an amazing, productive, and joyful school year.
As we kick off the year, I want you to know that my classroom is a place where all students are supported, encouraged, and challenged to reach their full potential. I believe in building strong relationships, maintaining open communication, and creating a safe and respectful environment where every student feels valued.
Tomorrow, your child will be bringing home a Math Syllabus and Student Questionnaire. These documents are very important—they outline our classroom expectations, policies, procedures, and give me a chance to learn more about your child as a learner. Please take a few moments to review them together at home. Once reviewed, I kindly ask that you sign and return them by Wednesday, August 13th.
Your support and partnership mean the world to me. Together, we can ensure that your child has a successful and fulfilling 7th grade math experience.
