Describe a situation from your daily life where you use ratios or rates. For example, comparing time spent on homework versus time on your phone, or the number of boys to girls in your friend group.
→ Write the ratio in at least two forms (e.g., fraction, colon, or “to” form).

Operations with Fractions and Multi-Digit Numbers (NS)

Explain a time when you needed to add, subtract, or multiply using fractions or large numbers—such as during baking, measuring, or budgeting money.

Think of a real-life scenario that involves rational numbers, such as spending money, temperatures below zero, or sports scores.
→ Write a short word problem involving rational numbers and solve it.

Expressions and One-Step Equations (EE)
