Welcome to the 5th grade!

I hope this website will be a useful tool for my students and their parents as we work together this year.

Before becoming an educator I ran an assemblyman's office at the New York State Assembly in Albany. While on the Education Committee, I worked with various groups of students. Determining that I loved working with children, I became an educator in 2015. I taught grades 3 - 5 in Staten Island for 3 years, and then in 2018, I became a 5th grade math and social studies teacher in Brooklyn, NY. In 2022, I became a 5th grade math and science educator for Samsel Upper Elementary! Although I teach math and science, I have a passion for all subjects!

 

I live in Freehold, NJ and two beautiful children (Emma and Jack) and an Irish Terrier named Bridget. I love taking them for walks. I also love reading, watching movies, and eating popcorn! As the year goes on I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
