How to be successful in class:

• Please be prepared each day with the necessary books needed for our class, along with sharpened pencils and erasers each day.
• Students will be expected to carry their books with them from class to class. In the past, some students have brought in canvas bags to carry their belongings.
• Students should not leave any books or materials behind in their other class because they will not be allowed to go back for their missing materials.
• Students are expected to enter class each day quietly and begin their work right away.
• Monday through Thursday your child will receive homework. It is assigned to review what we have learned in school. Please ensure that it is completed each evening. Take homework seriously.
• If your child is absent, they will be given two days to complete the homework that they missed.
• Students will have at least a week's notice of any upcoming tests in our class.
• Your child will be traveling from class to class. Please remind them to be mindful of the students in the other classes, as they transition in the hallways.
• Please remind your children to write all of their homework, important events, and dates in their planners.
