STRINGS:
Gulf Coast Symphony MusicWorks!
An El-Sistema based program whose primary goal is to empower children to achieve their full potential through the study and performance of music. Students (grades 2-6) will learn an instrument from the string family (violin, viola, cello, bass), and perform as a string orchestra, and in smaller string ensembles.

Naples Philharmonic Orchestra
(Listening opportunity, not lessons) World-class orchestra only about an hour away. Visiting orchestras are also sponsored in their series, as well as pop, broadway, and jazz concerts. I highly recommend the Pops and Film score concerts to kids and families looking to hear an orchestra live.
