STRINGS:

Gulf Coast Symphony MusicWorks!

Gulf Coast Symphony hosts an after school string program called Music Works. Students learn to master a stringed instrument such as violin or cello, mixed in other fun music activities games, and instruments. Class is held Monday-Thursday 4-5:30 at the Music and Arts Center. We accept students from grades 2-7 who range from 0 experience to 3 years of experience (students will learn and work on pieces based on their skill level). Scholarships available based on need and will work with middle school students who might get to rehearsal a little later due to school schedule. Students will get to perform on the stage of Babara B Mann. There is link below with more info.

Naples Philharmonic Orchestra

(Listening opportunity, not lessons) World-class orchestra only about an hour away. Visiting orchestras are also sponsored in their series, as well as pop, broadway, and jazz concerts. I highly recommend the Pops and Film score concerts to kids and families looking to hear an orchestra live.
