Each week we will be learning "tricky words". These words are "sight words", meaning they do not follow the rules in phonics. They have to memorize them by sight.

when the red folder fails! (it's still at school ;) )

We will test a small amount of tricky words each week. We use fill-in-the-blank assessments that are read aloud or done orally. This is when your child will be given the tricky word and asked to read it aloud to me.
