1. Course Description: The training materials that will be covered in this course will prepare all trainees to the all-important topic of safety in the welding trade while introducing reading welding symbols and detailed drawings, physical characteristics and mechanical properties of metals etc..
2. Students Performance Objective: After each module is complete, trainees will be require to do hands on training in the welding shop for participation grades/shop performance grades. Practice will be up to the trainee to perform advance proficiently in the shop after demonstrations are giving.
3. Evaluation and Requirement:

• Attendance: Refer to school policy
• Grade Determination

A = 93 – 100

B = 85-92

C = 75 – 84

D = 67 – 74

F = 66 and below

 

Gradable Content: Module Testing 50% , Shop Performance 35%, Classwork 15% , Homework - Extra credit..

Note: Upon completion of each Individual module there will be a module test, and a performance task.
