Quizzes - 30%

Classwork/Homework - 15%

Exams and Quizzes

• All exams and quizzes will be assigned through the Google Classroom page
• Announcements for when each exam and quiz will be given will be made at least 2 days before each exam and quiz in-person and on the classroom page
• There are a limited number of outlets. Please make sure Chromebooks are charged

Assignments

• Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom

• Late assignments will be accepted until 2 weeks before the end of each marking period with penalties/deductions

Participation

• Every student begins each marking period with 100 points for their Participation Grade
• Positive contributions to class discussion such as volunteering to answer questions out loud, helping other students, and more will add points to your Participation Grade
• Negative contributions such as talking loudly to neighbors about topics not being discussed in class, consistently and constantly not paying attention to class, and more will subtract points from your Participation Grade

Extra Credit

• If you can demonstrate that you are making a good faith effort to learn the lessons of the class, extra credit will be awarded. Examples of extra credit include a short presentation on a related topic, a factsheet, a simple program, artwork, designing your own quiz/exam on a related topic, and more. This is a great opportunity for you to flex your creative muscles!
