About the Coordinator
LeeAnn Smith resides with her husband Dennis, a retired NJDOC officer and current tattoo artist, in Sussex County. They have 2 children; Christian & Isabel. This is Mrs. Smith's 17th year in education. As a former graphic designer, she has utilized her creativity to help students who learn differently. She has taught grades K-8 in a variety of settings both in general education and special education and is a former NJ School Board Member. She has been a panel speaker at annual conferences for both the NJ Special Education Summit and the Council for Exceptional Children. She was also featured in NJ Teachers' Magazine in April 2018.
