Struggling with a math course can be overwhelming. Find resources here, including answers to FAQ's.

1. Where can I find basic information about your expectations, grading policies, and contact information?

Please see my 2024-2025 Syllabus. Handed out during week 1 and posted on Google Classroom.

 2. My student doesn't understand the material. What can I do?

Resources that are already available to your student.

Free tutoring is available at Neville. Schedule is posted on my GC page.

HELP videos are posted with each set of homework activities.

Your student's curriculum has QR codes that link to additional HELP videos.

3. What if my student needs an mcschools.net (district assigned) google account OR can't remember their password?

Use the link below to request a new account or a reset.

4. My student does not have a grade that is worthy of them. What can they do?

Encourage your student to take advantage of each opportunity available!

Quizzes are able to be challenged (retaken) as many times as they wish before the next quiz.

Bonus opportunities are posted with each week's work.

OPTIONAL projects are posted each 9 weeks that count as an additional 100 point grade.

Improve attendance! Classwork is where understanding happens. (It's also a grade.)

5. My student has missed a lot of class and is behind (and the grade is awful). What can they do to fix BOTH problems?

First, please know that submitting work without understanding, just for points, is USELESS. This will not help your student. The understanding needs to be fixed AND the work needs to be submitted.

Both of these need to be addressed in FREE NEVILLE TUTORING.

6. How often will my student have math homework?

Before your student steps on campus Monday morning, each week's assignment can be found on Google Classroom (organized by week). In a typical 5-day week, the entire assignment is due on Friday DURING CLASS. This is subject to change as needs change during the week.

Most of the time, if your student has participated in classwork activities, he or she has ample opportunity to complete most of the homework in class.
