Dear Parent/Guardian:
Welcome to the 2025/26 school year. I teach Basic Study Skills II & IV and AA Social Studies I & II and am very excited to be afforded the opportunity to work with your student as his/her teacher. Please be mindful that at some time during the school year, I will be calling to set up your student’s IEP and/or a Parent/Teacher Conference if I am your student's Folder Holder. If at any time you would like to speak with me, schedule a conference, or have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me as I have an “open door” policy and encourage communication so that your student has a successful year.
Because your student’s education and success are extremely important to me, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time with a question or concern. Should your student need or want some extra help with school work, please let me know and your student can possibly meet with me during an activity period. However, please keep in mind, FREE tutoring is also offered by some teachers within their expertise after school on specific days.
I have a request . . . please try to be extra patient with your student’s teachers and administration. We sincerely have your student’s best interest and health at heart and therefore policies and guidelines are in place to reflect safety and well-being for all.
Should you have any suggestions, questions, and/or concerns, or if you would like to schedule a conference during the school year regarding your student, please feel free to contact me by email at [email protected] and I will do my best to help you. Otherwise, I will direct you to someone else who can assist you further. I look forward to working with your student and you on his/her path to a successful school year!
Sincerely,
Wendy Branch
