Studying Techniques
Preparation:
-
Take good notes in class
-
If a teacher reviews the answers, make corrections in colorful ink (it helps you remember!)
-
Stay organized - coordinate folders and notebooks in the same colors!
-
Get rid of distractions
-
Put away your computers/cell phones/video games & turn off the TV (I know, I know...)
-
NO multi-tasking!
-
Get comfortable
-
Do a little bit over a long period of time, NOT a lot over a short period of time - Cramming doesn't work!
-
Take a break when you notice you're not focusing as well anymore
