Classroom Expectations:

• Demonstrate Spartan qualities.
• Treat others as they would like to be treated.
• It’s ok to not know, it’s not ok to not try.

Behavior/Discipline:

      As always, learning can only take place when our classroom is a respectful and comfortable environment. The Class Dojo application allows students to receive points for “Spartan” behaviors and have points taken away for behaviors that negatively impacts their learning or the classroom. This app allows students and parents to have a clear concept of the student’s behavior in school. Students will meet to discuss their behaviors on a weekly basis, or as needed. More concerning behaviors will be handled through parent and principal contact.

Absences:

      If you are absent, it is expected that you make up any work that you missed. Most work can be completed digitally at home. An “Absent Folder” can be available upon parents/guardians request only. I will be available for help on any make up work as well.
