Grading: Demonstrate understanding

      GOOD NEWS! With this new grading system there are no more BAD grades! Standards Based Grading encourages understanding and can pinpoint where a child is struggling. 

1-Beginning: I am just starting to learn this & I don't understand it yet!

2-Developing: I can sometimes do this. It helps if I look at an example or get help. I am making progress!

3-Meeting: I can do this on my own without any help!

4-Extending: I can extend my knowledge of this skill & teach others!

Lets take away the stigma of a "bad grade" and work toward understanding!!
