Dear Parent/Guardian,
I am proud to be a member of the staff at Hillside Intermediate School this year as a General Education and Special Education teacher. This is my 7th year teaching at Hillside. I am a graduate of the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. Since graduating in May 2017, I have been working in the Bridgewater Raritan Regional School District. I have experience working as a Language Arts Intervention Specialist for grades K-6, teaching 6th Grade (All Subjects), and teaching English as a foreign language in Taiwan on a Fulbright Scholarship.
Through the use of innovative multisensory activities and lessons, I will work to help your student gain the skills necessary to succeed in the classroom, and in the real world. Through the use of testing and data analysis, I will work to find specific areas to map out a clear plan for your student’s specific needs. I also have a team of amazing professionals at Hillside who will be working with me to develop plans. The last and most important factor in this equation is you, the Parent/Guardian. You spend more time with your students than anyone else at Hillside. Your input is crucial and will play a major role in your student’s development. With your help, and the dedicated staff at Hillside, your student will have great success in the classroom and the real world.
