Do I have to sign up for field day?

The short answer is no.  If you do not like to give out your information, you can still participate and share your photos through Washington Twp school district Facebook page using the a hashtag that should have been emailed to you.  Reason you should sign-up – US Games and all of the companies of Varsity Brands are committed to helping you make the OPEN National Field Day event festive and fun for your entire community. As a part of this, they are donating 5 prizes to be given away to 5 registered participants. The top prize is a $500 gift certificate to US Games! Second prize is a $250 gift certificate and 3 others will win $100 gift certificates. You must register to be eligible to win.  We're asking our ADULT community members to sign up for the OPEN National Field Day for two reasons. First, we want to make sure you are informed and have all of the information you need to fully participate with your students. Second, we want to know who is participating and where in the world you live in order to measure our impact and focus our program offerings.  You can also print your own certificates for participating.

May 1, 2020:

Field Day INFO update: Check your email for the district e-blast. April 2, 2020:

Choose your activities wisely. Make sure you are doing an activity that is similar to your goal that will help you improve. For example, if your goal is to improve on the mile run, set up a running course around your backyard or neighborhood that you can run and make the distance longer each day. Even just repeating the same activity for a few weeks will help you get better. The Daily Fitness Challenge for today is: Fortnight Fitness!

March 31, 2020:

Before setting a goal it is important to establish a baseline score. For example, if I choose push-ups as one of my goals, it would be best to see how many I can get in one minute before I start working on that goal. Lets say I score 15 push-ups in my test. My new goal maybe would be to get 20 when I test again in four weeks. Check out the P.E. at Home Videos tab on the left for some great activities to improve your fitness! Also, the Daily Fitness Challenge for today is: It's Yoga Time!

March 30, 2020:
