Welcome to the 6th grade! I am Mrs. Amanda-Joy McElroy. I enjoy traveling, going to the beach, hanging out with my two doggies and attempting Pinterest crafts :)  I am so excited to be a part of your school year!

In May 2012, I graduated from Rowan University (Go Profs!) with a B.S in Biological Sciences. I completed my student teaching experience at EHT High School, teaching 9th grade Biology. Then, in June 2016, I graduated from Drexel University (Go Dragons!) with a M.S in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum. In 2020 I completed my Capstone Research project which focused on whether Collaborative Learning Strategies within classrooms helped to dissipate behaviors associated with ADHD and earned my M.S in Special Education. I am certified to teach Math, Science, and TOSD.
