Welcome to Honors Chemistry! I am excited to have you in class this year as we explore the fascinating world of matter, energy, and the laws that govern the universe. Chemistry is often called the “central science” because it connects biology, physics, earth science, and so many other fields. Together, we will investigate how atoms combine to form molecules, how chemical reactions power the world around us, and how science impacts our everyday lives.
