NOTE FROM TEACHER: I love working with my kids and letting them have as much of a cultural experience as possible. I also work with them and their grades. Usually, extra credit is not something that happens all the time in my class because I want students to try as much as possible. 

 

I know learning a new language is difficult, but it will take time and determination! Do not hesitate to reach out for ways you can help at home or encouraging your student to come to me if they are struggling. 

 

With grades, if there is a quiz or test over 70 points, a student can retake the test if they receive a failing grade. This will not be taken for granted. I have this policy because I am aware how difficult learning a language can be. I would rather my students LEARN than not do well on a test and move on. Communication will be super important to make sure no student gets left behind. :)

 

In accordance to Wossman Policy, students with an excused absence will have the same number of days to make up work. It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements for any make-up work to be done.

 

Teachers are not required to allow students to make up missed work. 

-Any student missing school as a result of any suspension shall be counted absent and given failing grades for those days suspended.
