Hello Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grade Families,

Lessons and Band focus on experienceing the joy and excitement that comes from learning a piece of music to the best of our ability. We focus on individual advancement during lessons and the needs of ensemble playing during Band class.  Students who have chosen Band will advance at their own pace, and they are expected to give their absolute best effort during each class.  Lessons and Band focus on music for concerts, selections from the lesson books, and scales.  Opportunities for fun musical opportunities come to students who are well prepared for class and have a willingness to give their best effort.
