Welcome to Technology Education at HVCHS!
Mr. Sullivan teaches "Intro to Engineering Design(PLTW)", "Introduction to Furniture Design & Construction", "Advanced Furniture Design & Construction", and " Fine Woodworking". All woods classes meet in room 105 , our beautiful woodshop here at HVCHS. Engineering will meet in room 111, the recently updated, high tech prototyping lab. Each of the courses are very different from one another, fun and hands-on! During the courses, students will be exposed to an intensive, regimented curriculum pertaining to specific fields of Technology and modern industrial demands. Students should leave these classes as better consumers, "do-ers" of Technology, and world citizens. Attitudes and safety are stressed in all the courses. Mr. Sullivan is also the lead faculty adviser for the high school's FIRST FRC robotics team! Participation in this highly competive team is an absolute must for any student planning to pursue engineering in college or career.
