BIRTHDAY READERS

 

Each student can invite a special guest reader to  come in on their birthday in the afternoon. We call them Birthday Readers. The date will be arranged through our Room Parent.

*We don't have to schedule for their actual birthday, another day is fine. 

 

The Birthday Reader will come for 20 minutues. Picture books are best, fiction or nonfiction. Choose a book your child would love! Plan to read for 20 minutes. In order to grow our library we ask that you consider donating the birthday book to our classroom (optional). Check in at the office when you arrive and no need to be early. 

*Summer birthdays are celebrated as half birthdays
