Seventh grade music cycle is an exciting course for all 7th grade student to create, perform, respond to and reflect on the development and cultivation of American music. Topics that are covered include Jazz & Improvisation, Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Rock, Rap and Contemporary Music in America. Musical Elements will be discussed and analyzed through various artists, bands and compositions. Students will have to opportunity to learn basic guitar skills and knowledge related to the content of the course.
Students will recieve a code during their first class to join our Google Classroom.
This is the most updated place for notes, missed lessons, upcoming projects, or annoucements.
Ask them to "Invite Guardian" if you would also like to be a part of the classroom!
Supplies for class: A folder designated for only Music Cycle class with loose leaf paper
OR a section in your 3 ring binder.
Please bring your own pen or pencil to class each day. Thank you!
