Absences: Students are expected to make up the assignment in the next class. If the student is not caught up, the assignment is to be taken home and brought back the next school day. Grades: 1 - missing 2 - incomplete
2. Grading: 1 - Missing assignment 2 - Incomplete or below grade level standards 3 - Completed according to the standards 4 - Above grade level standards for the curriculum
3. Participation Grades are given each month. They are for cooperation with the teacher and peers; best effort and participation in the lesson during class. Participation means that they are trying their best at all times to repeat the words and phrases we are learning. *Students who show up unprepared without their chromebooks and/or chromebooks that are not charged and no charger will be counted as having no participation for the day.
Expectations: Students are expected to put forth their best effort in order to learn through the interpretive, interpersonal and presentational models of the Spanish language. They will also be learning about different cultures. Each class will expand more on a topic and the assessments will have less coaching/scaffolding per grade level.
