Our Third Grade Classroom!
Math: In math we will begin our school year by reviewing 2nd grade skills. We will practice math facts daily.
Language Arts: We will discuss the characters/setting and details in our stories that we read together. We will review identifying nouns, verbs and adjectives in our reading and writing. Students will use reading strategies taught in class to help them solve unknown words to become better readers.
Social Studies: We will expand on communities and begin learning about early America.
Science: Students will have Mrs. Savage for 3rd grade science. I will be teaching Social Studies to her class and ours!
