We will be reading daily in our classroom. We use Fountas and Pinell and Journeys

In our classroom I will have many books related to whatever topic we are learning about that week displayed. Your child will be encouraged to not only read these books but bring in any of their own books to share with our class.
During snack time, I will often put on a digital story that will be read to the class from one of the following websites:

Tumblebooks will sometimes be used during our reading center. Your child will be assigned a book that I choose or one that they choose from a specific area only. During center time your child will read the story or have the story read to them and complete a related activity. Tumblebooks are through the Ocean County library system and can be found under e-books on their website: http://theoceancountylibrary.org/
