National Geographic Bee

Mrs. Hardy and I are the coordinators of the DTS National Geographic Bee.  Students in 6-8th grades have the opportunity to participate in GeoBee each year.  We typically start practicing during lunch in October.  Students play various online games to learn about states, capitals, geographic regions, bodies of water, and cultures around the world. 

 

Our favorite game last year was called Game On World - https://gameon.world/  Our lunch practice sessions become a friendly competition to see who can accumulate the most points!
