-
Students have one week to make corrections.
-
The week begins on the day the graded paper is returned to students.
-
Students are encouraged to correct their mistakes on all tests and quizzes. However, students will only be allowed to make corrections for grade increase on a test with a score of less than 75%.
-
A “Request to Retest” form must be completed to serve as their hall pass to come in before school to make corrections.
-
Any incorrect answers changed to the correct answers will receive half of the points dedcuted credit. (Ex. If a student has a -10 points on their total score and all incorrect answers are changed to the correct answer, they will earn +5 points toward their grade). In some cases, the test will be rescored, and an average of the old score and new score will be their final grade for the assignment.
This does not apply to Vocabulary Tests, Minor Assessments, or items entered as Participation/Completion.
Students can only make corrections for improved grades on Skills Tests entered in as Major Assessments.
