Supervised Agricultural Experience

At Kaplan High School, every student enrolled in Ag 1, 2 or 3 must complete an SAE, or Supervised Agricultural Experience.  This program is worth 1/3 of a student's Ag grade.  SAE's will be comprised of 25 hours of work completed outside of school in addition to completing an online portfolio of their experience using www.theaet.com.  The goal of completing an SAE is to give students experience in record keeping, using real world, hands on work. Students have many options that can be found here

SAE's will be due April 13, 2018. However, if a student wishes to compete with their SAE (have it submitted to state for a Proficiency Award), it will need to be completed prior to this.

Step by step directions to completing an SAE can be found here, but as always, please do not hesistate to email me
