My name is Ms. Zydzik and I will be teaching your child LAL/SS. I hope you and your family had a great summer. I am happy to welcome your child to the 2021-2022 school year. I hope we can return to some normalcy this year. I am looking forward to teaching your child in person. As of now, everyone is required to wear a mask during school hours. I will be giving the students mask breaks throughout the day.
I hope this website will be helpful to you and your child. On this website, you can link to many of the LAL/SS websites we use in class. You will also find some great websites you can use when researching topics.

You can find homework assignments here. Just click on "Homework Calendar" to the left. I make every attempt to keep the assignments accurate. Last-minute changes may occur, however, and I may not be able to make changes in time. So it is important your child copies the homewrok from the board each day.
2021-2022 Suggested Supplies for LAL/SS
-1 backpack
-3 spiral notebooks or a spiral notebook with 4 divided sections
-2 marble composition notebooks (any color)
-2 folders or an accordion file folder, separated into sections.
(The accordion folder helps if your child tends to lose things.)
- Please no binders or trapper keepers (They don't fit in the desks.)
-3 highlighters (any color)
-3 packages of post-its (any color)
-1 homework agenda book will be provided by the PTO
-4 pencils and an eraser
-1 pair of earbuds, so students can use computer sound features
-1 box of crayons and or markers
-1 box of tissues for your child's desk (or the pocket ones)
-1 small hand sanitizer for your child's desk
-2 extra face masks...each in a plastic baggie with your child's name
-1 pencil case with your child's name
