D.A.R.E.
All fifth grade students will be participating in the DARE program this year. DARE stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. They will meet with Deputy Eric Mistretta from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office once a week during the second semester of the school year beginning August 20th through December. Students complete lessons out of their DARE planner at every meeting. At the end of the program, they will write a DARE essay summarizing what they learned from the DARE program. They must write this essay in order to graduate from the program. Students who complete the D.A.R.E. program will graduate at the D.A.R.E. graduation.
